I can’t breath!
My mask is too tight.
I can’t breath!
My mask is too tight.
I can’t breath!
My mask is too tight.
“Can’t you see?
You’ll never be free.
Don’t dare put up a fight.”
Slavery was a form of control,
Now they asphyxiate your body and coerce your soul
These words hurt. Society hurts.
The power and the sorrow of this poem is that it’s entirely true.
